My sense is that we are at another chaos point.
We've got the demand for "mobile" but we don't know what it means or what to do with it yet.
We understand the need for "analytics" but we don't know what to measure.
Then if we measure "it" - we don't know what to do with it.
Or worse...OTHERS will determine what to do with that data.
I liked the way Tony O'Driscoll described the gaps. From technologies to people to organizations..
I suspect we are in that gap between technology and people.
Lack of technical standardization isn't helping - though I am thinking Clark Quinn is right when he said "HTML5 may be the coalescing point"
At least for mobile.
Another thought (and this may just be a reflection of where my head is at these days)....
All of the presenters have so much information and so many ideas that they are talking really really fast.
Again - the chaos point. Things haven't coalesced yet.
